This fund provides financial assistance to medically underinsured families supporting their children’s health-related challenges. Requests are approved by the advisory board of community members.
Criteria for Use:
No defined illness, injury, or health concern that is targeted
Have current insurance but not eligible for or enrolled in Medicaid or CICP
Examples for use:
Medical costs: insurance co-pays, deductibles, provider bills
Travel expenses for treatment
Living expenses: utilities, rent/mortgage, gas, groceries, and other critical life support functions
The KidSelf Pediatric Therapy Program assists families with very young children experiencing physical, developmental, and communication difficulties. Services are provided on a sliding-fee scale. Fees are coordinated through Banner Patient Financial Services. Applications or referrals are completed in the Occupational Health Clinic.

Financial need: Qualify at or below 500% of the current federal poverty level
